| Ebony lived with our friends Pat and Iain at Solwaybay as part of a great newfie family. She had a good life which ended too soon and came very close to a Champion title. She is much missed by Pat and Iain and by us all at Sandbears. | |

2008 was a good year for Ebony with three firsts and a second in Puppy classes at Championship shows so she well and truly qualified for Crufts 2009. The 2009 season saw lots of good wins and placings at Championship shows and in 2010 she went on to gain her Studbook number. In 2011 Ebony competed in the Open classes winning the Reserve Challenge Certificate under well known all-rounder judge Mr. Frank Kane at Windsor in July and then she took the top spot with the Bitch Challenge Certificate at the Working & Pastoral Breeds of Scotland show in November under Mr. Jeff Luscott. Well done Ebony and of course Iain and Pat. 2012 saw Ebony collecting another three Reserve CCs and in 2013 her fifth and sixth Reserve CC were followed by a second CC awarded by breed specialist judge Mr. William Dobbin. |
